Trail Rides
Trail riding in the mountains!When you arrive, you’ll receive instruction if you are a beginner or an overview for more advanced riders. All of our horses are quiet, experienced and easily managed. Everyone from children to seniors can enjoy a ride!
Two-hour trips begin from the U Bar stables. You will ride up trails onto Grande Mountain where views look out over three mountain lakes and the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies. Make sure to bring along a camera to take home memories of the breathtaking scenery along the way.
If you would like something a bit more adventuresome, then the day ride into the historic Kvass flats is the one for you! Kvass Flats is approximately a 5 to 5 ½ hour return trip into the Willmore Wilderness Park. We begin at the Sulphur Gates Staging Area, location of the confluence of the Sulphur and Smoky rivers and the spectacular cliffs of Sulphur Gates. Lunch is at the flats where you have a chance at seeing some wildlife and can relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. On the way back, we will detour into the well-known Eaton Creek Falls.

One Hour Ride: $52
Two Hour Ride: $81
Kvass Flats trip: $215 (must be booked one week in advance)
